Prebro is a trade facilitator for export and import of commodities in bulk commerce using major marine logistical bases. We respect your private information and undertake to protect your information as provided herein. Therefore, we request you to carefully read the terms of our Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”).

Our Privacy Policy is an agreement between us and the users/ registrants (hereinafter “you”, “your”, “yourself” or “User”) of our Site www.Prebro.com and Services. You may provide information to us voluntarily or we may automatically collect information when you access our Site or use our Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you provide to or that is collected by any third-party site that you access or use in connection with using our Services.

We also maintain your usernames, passwords, email addresses and other security-related information provided by you in relation to our services.
  • Business and Trading Data.Your business-related information, such as company details, management details, documents and the commodities you carry on your trade in
  • Derivative Data.Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Site, such as your native actions that are integral to the Site, as well as other interactions with the Site and other users via server log files. We may also collect and maintain contact information of people you notify of our Service and communications between you and other users of the Site through the Site, posts, etc.
  • Financial Data.Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our Services from the Site. We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processor. We also collect your payment and account information including account history with us, all billing information and communications, payment history etc.
  • Geo-Location Information.We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Site, to provide location-based services.   • Mobile Device Data.Device information such as your mobile device ID number, model, and manufacturer, version of your operating system, phone number, country, location, and any other data you choose to provide.
  • Push Notifications.We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or the Site. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
  • Third-Party Data.Information from third-parties, such as Personal Information or network friends, if you connect your account to the third-party and grant the Site permission to access this information. We also collect and maintain third-party data either created by you or by a third-party and which you wish to store on our servers such as image files, documents etc.

For example, we may automatically collect your location, computer operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, information about your Internet connection and mobile device, access times and the browser type and language. We may also collect information about your navigation using our Services, for example the URLs of websites that you visit and from which you request downloads. Further, we may collect information about your preferences and settings such as time zone and language, your searches and the results you selected from the search, your browsing information and your transactional information. We also collect information about your usage and activity on the Site using certain technologies, such as: Cookies. Cookies are small data files that may have unique identifiers and reside, among other places, on your computer or mobile device, in emails we send to you, and on the Site. Among other things, cookies help us improve the Site and your experience.

  1. TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
  • (i)Cookies and Web Beacons. We may use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the Site to help customize the Site and improve your experience. We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the Personal Information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide Personal Information.

Specifically, we may require you to share your credit or debit card account information to make payments for the Services availed by you through the Site. When payment card account information is being transmitted on or through the Site, it will be protected by encryption technology. You expressly consent to the sharing of your information with registered product vendors and other third-party service providers, including payment gateways, to process payments and manage payment card information. To be clear, Prebro does not itself store your payment card account information and does not have direct control over or responsibility for your payment card account information. We therefore cannot guarantee that transmissions of your payment card account information or Personal Information will always be secure or that unauthorized third-parties will never be able to defeat the security measures we or our third-party service providers take. Prebro assumes no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond its control. You play an important role in keeping your Personal Information secure. You should not share your user's name, password, or other security information for your account with anyone.

We undertake regular checks and tests to bolster our security safeguards. We test and update our Site to make it less susceptible to tampering. We employ firewalls and other security technologies to protect our servers from external attack and securely store your Personal Information. Some of our protective measures are listed below. Because the area of data protection is constantly evolving, the below list remains subject to frequent change and update.

  • We use encryption and decryption certificates to protect website-server communication and ensure highest available trust. Data is encrypted via Transport Layer Security protocol and protects from phishing and man-in-middle attacks.
  • Your valuable passwords are hashed, salted and protected with proven algorithm therefore resistant to dictionary, rainbow table, brute force etc.
  • Protection against leakage of user information: login or password recovery attempts will not reveal any account information, including the existence of an account.
  • Sensitive data, including documents are protected with military grade encryption and access is enabled through information security governance policy.
  • Prebro ’s servers reside in the cloud inside the top-tier professional data center where Amazon host’s data.
  • Data is replicated in real-time and backed up on daily basis.
  • Front-office and Back office are in different location therefore separate networks for separate purposes. User role, responsibilities and access are defined based on sensitivity and priority.

 

  1. Grievances

In the event you have any grievances relating to the Privacy Policy, please inform us within 24 hours of occurrence of the instance from which the grievance has arisen, by writing an email to the Grievance Officer at info@prebro.com. We will use best efforts to respond to all such grievances within 36 hours through email, telephone, personal visits, etc., and shall do our best to address your grievance expeditiously.

 

  1. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of Personal Information (if any) we disclosed to third-parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third-parties with which we shared Personal Information in the immediately preceding calendar year. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal. Additionally, in some jurisdictions, applicable law may give you the right to limit the ways in which we use your personal data, in particular where (i) you contest the accuracy of your personal data; (ii) the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal data; (iii) we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you require the information for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or (iv) you have objected to the processing and pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of Prebro  override your own.

EU Complaints to Supervisory Authorities. We invite you to let us know about any and all issues either directly by writing to Prebro ’s Data Protection Officer at info@prebro.com . We will respond through our Data Privacy Officer in writing within 30 days.

 

If you consider that our processing of your personal data infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.   1. International Data Transfers
