Egyptian fresh tomatoes for export, available as round tomatoes, roma/plum tomatoes or cherry tomatoes depending on program. This product is suitable for regional wholesale markets, supermarkets, hotels, foodservice and processors when maturity and transport route are correctly matched. Minimum order is set as a full commercial reefer load, either 40ft reefer container or 12m reefer truck for nearby markets. Tomatoes require careful selection of maturity stage, carton strength and pallet plan to prevent crushing and chilling injury. Buyer may specify size band, color stage, greenhouse or open-field origin, carton weight, retail packaging, residue analysis, GlobalGAP documentation and destination-specific inspection requirements.
